Naturae

This is a combination of a few things. It originally started as R & D and early concept development centering around nature and organic growth for a project that was sadly cancelled. I really liked a lot of what I had created and I wanted to keep exploring the nature vibe as well as push myself to learn more Houdini and X-particles, so a lot of these shots are the original R & D, some are things I learned from watching tutorials, and some are my attempts at recreating Houdini effects I have seen in other videos as a method of learning the software. Once again I had the great fortune to work with Flank Audio for custom sound design and music that really takes a bunch of random experiments strung together and makes it feel like one cohesive piece with a narrative.
